Describe the political system
A
- A republic, therefore has a president
- US Federal Government is made out of three branches: legislative, executive and judicial
- After you cast your vote, it goes to a statewide talley - in 48 states and Washington D.C, the winner gets all the electoral votes for that state
- A candidate need the votes of at least 270 electors to win

- Primary or elementary (- 5th g), middle school or junior high (6th - 8th g) and secondary education (9th - 12th g)
- Public schools are free

- Health insurances is purchased in the private marketplace or provided by the government for certain groups
