A
- A monarchy, Head of State is Queen Elizabeth II
- A parliamentary democracy, prime minister holds executive power
- The House of Commons: made up of 650 elected regional members of parliament
- The House of Lords: made up of appointed and hereditary peers
- If winning party gets more than 50% of the seats: majority government
- If winning party gets less than 50% of the seats: coalition government
- Leader of the winning party: prime minister

- Primary, secondary, further and higher education
- School is free to attend
- Children have to legally attend primary and secondary education (5-16 years old)
