What is urge incontinence?
strong need or urge to urinate, but LEAKING
What is stress incontinence?
Coughing, sneezing, laughing or physical activity that increases bladder pressure and LEAKAGE
What is functional incontinence?
inability to reach toilet in time
What is reflex incontinence?
leakage due to nerve damage
What is overflow incontinence?
incomplete bladder emptying resulting in bladder overfilling when full
What symptom is not normal in bladder irrigation?
Pain
What to look for in a bowel assessment?
defecation
fecal assessment
skin

What is diverticulosis?
small sacs or pouches form in colon
What is diverticulitis?
inflamed pouches or sacs in the colon
What do you look for in a fluid and electrolyte assessment?

What does a BMP test?
electrolyte and fluid balance with renal function and glucose levels
BUN, CO2, creatinine, glucose, chloride, potassium, sodium, calcium
What does a CMP test?
All CMP plus metabolism and protein and liver function
liver enzymes, alp, alt, ast, bilirubin, protein, albumin and CMP
What does a CBC test?
red blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, white blood cell count, platelet count
