-It was the belief that America was destined to expand its territory across North America.

The Florida Cession was an acquisition between Spain and the U.S. through the Adams-Onis Treaty in which the U.S. paid 5 million dollars to settle border disputes. It happened in 1819.

(1846-1848) It was a war between the U.S. and Mexico over the annexation of Texas and disagreements about the boundary between the two nations. It ended with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

(1845) Texas was admitted to the United States.
What and when was the Oregon Territory?
The Oregon Territory was U.S. land from 1848 to 1859, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and parts of Montana and Wyoming, gained through the 1846 Oregon Treaty with Britain.
