What is a Confined space?
A space large enough to enter but has limited and/or restrictive not to be used for continuous usage.
Non-permit Confined space
A confined space that contains no hazards
Permit Required Confined Spaces
A confined space that may contain a hazard or a IDLH
Oxygen-Deficient Atmosphere
A oxygen level lower than 19.5, could happen due to change in ambient air
Oxygen-enriched atmosphere
A oxygen level over 23.5, they also increase the chance of LEL and things to ignite
Master Entry Plan
A written Document that is revised annually that must be signed off by BE,FES, Occupational Safety, and CE
Entrants
They must understand all procedures, safeguards, and emergency protocol and or rescue procedure’s associated with entry
