The 7th US president. He was the first president who was born poor, and many could relate to him. He created Jacksonian Democracy, which catered to normal people.

Giving out government positions based on political allegiance. It is a form of bureaucracy.

He bypassed many political norms, he did many things that were seen as an overarching of power, such as forcing natives out of their homes.
