Divine Right
The right given to a king or queen to rule a country
Enlightenment
Rebirth period of European political, philosophy, religious, scientific, etc. values led by people with a belief that life could be bettered by this change
Equality
all men were created equal and that no one should be born into more power than another
Grievance
Complaint or protest against unfair treatment
Guillotine
a method of executing those condemned to death during the French Revolution.
Individual Human Rights
rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status (life, liberty, and the persaute of happiness)

was a member of the Jacobin Club, a revolutionary political movement that was the most famous political club during the French Revolution
Liberty

an ideology that emphasizes loyalty, devotion, or allegiance to a nation or nation-state and holds that such obligations outweigh other individual or group interests.

the adoption of the practices and culture of western Europe by societies and countries in other parts of the world, whether through compulsion or influence
