What’s the difference between the roost and the shoots?
A
Roots: Underground tissues that collect nutrients from the soil.
Shoots: The stem of the plant. Transports nutrients around the plant.

Ground Tissue: Plant cells that carry out basic metabolic processes and store excess nutrients.

Plant cells that provide transport for nutrients and water.
