- peachicks hatch with their flight feathers
- male peacocks tail feathers develop in later years
- male peacocks tail feathers are larger and longer (up to 2ft) and use them to attract female birds. The female birds choose their mate based on looks

- male peacocks are polygamous and mate with two to five females
- the male and his several mates will stay as a group until mating season ends

- both male and female birds are irritable towards other animals and humans

- wings enable to bee to fly as fast as 200 times per second (15 miles per hour)
- black and yellow stripes ward off predators and symbolize that the animal can be poisonous

- love throughout the winter, actively keeping the nest warm and safe
- go through four stages of life (egg, larva, pupa, adult)

- build their nest in an area surrounded by flowering plants in order to gather pollen

- drones mate with the queen once and then queen lays eggs throughout her life

- once a bee stings it’s stinger comes off and the body releases pheromones to alert other bees of danger
