QC is the checking for quality at the end of the production process. It uses quality inspectors as a way of finding faults. ​

A

QA involves Checking the standard throughout and at all stages of the production process by employees. ​

A

Total Quality Management is the continuous improvement of products and processes by focusing on quality at each and every stage of production – it is a Japanese management tool.

  2. Less training is required for the workers as inspectors are employed to check quality ​

  1. Identifies faulty products at the end but doesn’t find out the problem and so difficult to solve problem. ​
  2. As quality is checked at end, the product may have to be scrapped if it has faults, causing higher costs ​
