What is the cell theory?
- All living things are made of cells 2. Cells are the basic unit structure and function 3. all cells come from preexisting cells
What is the difference inbetween a TEM and SEM; what do they stand for?
TEM- transmission electron microscope : Electron beam goes through the specimen
SEM- scanning electron microscope : Gives 3D image; electrons bounce off of the specimen covered in gold and platinum

A cross section (slice)
