The Monarch makes descisions within the parliament
What is Secularisation?
The idea that religious beliefs, practices and orginisations are becoming less important in society
Secularisation is a process that happens overtime as the influence of religion weakens

Fewer people are willing to work in the church
As the world has involved with technology, people are distracted from religion

What is Humanism?
Thinkers started to question the authority of the Church and challange its teaching
The idea developed that human goodness and ethics came from human reason rathen then from some external power

I believe that you should not be hld back from your life, but I believe that you should worship god for what he has done for us
You shouldent be held back from your life just from god, that is not just
How is religous education represented in british schools \ what are the opinions?
Religous education is compulsory in all state schools
Schools shouldent force the Christian belief on our kids
Teachers must spread the Christian belief as it was one of Jesus’s last commands
I believe that there should be a medium where religions get taught but not overbearing with rules of prayer that are compulsory for the students, a positive balance
What is religous education in the Church Of England and Catholics?
COE:Recognising that faith is not based on a positive balance
Catholic:Enabling pupils to relate their Catholic faith in daily life
What is marrige to Christians?
For Christians, marrige is a special relationship between a man and woman that is created by God
What is a civil marrige?
Civil marrige is legaly recognisd union of two people, this is recognised by the Church of England - Roman Catholics accept a non catholic marriage but believe that it needs to take place in a church
What are different views on Same Sex Marriges?
Church of Engand is opposed to same sex marriges in church, Roman Cathoic church is opposed to same sex, Anglicans recognise the valididity in civil same sex marrages
Divorce is forbidden in the Catholic Church but its possible to get an annulment -
“Do not lie with a man as you would lie with a woman”

What is an annulment?
its a procedure to cancel a marriage and wipes it out as if it never existed - an annulment cannot happen if the marriage was done by a Catholic priest
What is an arranged marrige?
An arranged marrige is a marriage that is planned by the families of the two partners and not by the partners themselves
What are opinions on Arranged Marriges?
It was common for girls to marry when she hit puberty because Jeuss’s mother, Mary was a girl of about 14 when she gave birth to hhim
Non christian cultures still practice arranged marriages to this day, in the uk he are legal provided both partners agree to the marriage
Christian Churches oppose forced marrige absolutly because they teach that consent isn’t an inportiant condition of marrige
What is euthanasia?
Euthinasia is tbe debliberate act of ending someones life to relieve them of sufering
What is Voluntary Euthinasia?
Voluntary wuthinasia is when a person requests that their life be ended, perhaps because they have a terminal illness that is causing them a lot of pain
What is Involuntary Euthinasia?
Involuntary Euthanasia is when a person is unable to request that their life be ended, so a doctor orrelative makes the decision
What is Passive Euthinasia?
Passive Euthanasia is withholding treatment that would keep the person alive
