What do Chistians mean when they say Our Judge?
Our Judge - Christians believe God will judge us on the way we have lived our lives and that hiis judgement will determine what happens to us after death. They also believe however that he is forgiving and kind to people who ask for his forgiveness
What are the roles of Holy Spirit?
The trinity consists of the Father(God who is seen as the protector and creator), The son (Christians believe that Jesus was God in human form who came to earth to die on the cross to pay for human sin) and the Holy Spirit (Christians believe the holy spirit is the presence of God that is with them all the time and helps them live the way that he wants), the holy spirit acts to remind christians of their faith
What is Unitariaism?
Unitarianism is a Christian belief that states that God is one being
What do Jehova’s Wittness believe about God?
Jehova’s witnesses reject the teaching of the trinity and believe that god is a single being and that his personal name is Jehovah, they believe there is no one equal to God and they see Jesus as the son of god

Why do Christians disagree about the creation of the world?
Some christians disagree about wether God created the world from ex nihlo (nothing) or whether he created the world from pre existent matter
How does God relate with Humanity?
God relates with humanity through Jesus through teachings, laws (the bible), incarnation(Jesus became flesh like humans so God cann relate to him)
Jesus describes God’s relationships with Christian, saying that God the Father loves those who are obedient to his teaching
What are Judgements on God is Good?
Some could argue that god isn’t good as he burned sodum and gamora because they were sinning against him, he asked abraham to sacrifice his son
God is Good as he let’s christians achieve salvation and repent their sins
God is good through Judgement, God knows and sees everything, therefore he will judge fairly

Christians believe that the existence of evil comes from:
Evil as a resualt of human sin - In the Genisis story of the fall Adam and eve disobey god’s instructuion to not eat from the tree of knowledge and thus they first bring evil into a perfect world
Evil as a lesson - Iranaus believes that man is not created to be perfect but imperfect to grow and develop to perfection as planned by God, so some christians believe that evil is nescisary for us to understand goodness
Evil as a Test - Other christians think that suffering is a test of faith for believers and a punishment for the wicked
What’s the disadvantage of the Judgement: Evil as a Lesson?
Disadvantage: sometimes suffering does not help us develop God’s perfect qualities and become more like him, so it’s hard to see why it’s nessicary
What is the Soul Making Theodocy?
A theory that Irinaus made, he is saying that god didn’t create evil but he allowed evil and suffering in order for the soul to develop “spiritualy” (free will) - Iranaus thinks that evil came from free will
What is the Design Argument Belief Based on / main point?
You will see complex, intricate, awe designs in the world, it must have had a creator and that creator had to have been god

William Palley - He saw a watch and claimed that it must have had a designer because it was working and complex

The fact that we have evolved showed that God must exist

There has to be a first causse and the first cause cannot be part of the universe because everything in the universe has a cause

It’s a strength because its posteriori (based on observations) and everyone can see it

A weakness of this argument is that it could just be up to chance and they cannot prove it
What’s a disadvantage of the cosmilogical argument?
Maybe God had a first cause that no one knows of
What is the basis of the Cosmilogical Argument?
Cosmological argument - based on “why is there something rather then nothing”, everything has a cause - “cause and effect”, “what is the first cause for al these effects

“Concience is the voice of god” - Joseph Butler - (the questions of should I shouldent I is your morality)

What is the basis of the Moral Argument?
If there was no God then human’s wouldent have sense of right and wrong
The guilt when we do something is the Voice of God speaking
