To reveal himself to people - showing him his love and power and teaching people how he wants people to live
To sacrifice himself on the cross, receiving God’s punishment for human sin in order for the repentant people to be forgiven
To rise from the dead to show that God has power over death, that he is eternal and that the Christians too have an everlasting life in heaven after death

In the beginning, god created the heavens and earth
God said let there be light and there was light, he then separated the light from the darkness, those 2 were the first day

On Day Six, God commanded the earth to bring forth living creatures. He also made man and woman in His own image.

What happened in Genisis 2?
In Genisis 2 God creates the first humans, Adam and Eve
God gave Adam and Eve life and put them in a beautiful garden
God is Anthropomorphic (god uses human characteristics) - an example is when god breathed life into adam
Adam is given free will (to chose to obey or not towards god)
God states that there is a tree that they shall not eat from, otherwise they will die, satans job is to make adam and eve eat the fruit from this garden (Gen 2)
Satan was in the form of a serpant
Satan tricks Eve into eating the fruit and she convinces adam too to eat this fruit
God then cast Adam and Eve out of the garden, this created sin (Original Sin)

Original Sin caused humans to lose immortality and this is why everyone dies one day

Natural Evil is suffering created through no direct fault of humans (an example is a flood)

Moral evil is suffering caused by the act of humans
What are opinions on Inconcsistant triad?
People believe that if god is so omnipotent then he would care to stop all suffering caused by evil
Maybe he does not care enough to stop suffering therefore he is not omnibonevolent
Some people believe that god does not want totake away free will from humans and let them make their own choices

The concept of salvation is how Jesus saved humans from sin and sacrificed himself

Atonement means to make amends or pays for having done something wrong

God would care for the jewish people if they obeyed his rules
As a result of sin, people disobeyed god’s laws
God provided a way for the jewish people to atone (make amends) for the offering of atonement sacrifice on the day of atonement
