Flat foot:
is the loss of the medial longitudinal arch of the foot.
Pes Planus
High arch in foot of a person with a hereditary neuropathy.
Pes Canvus
Physical deformity marked by outward bowing of the leg in the relation to the thigh, giving the appearance of an archers bow.
Genu Varum
“knock knee” medical alignment of the femur & tibia of less than 180 degrees
Genu Valgum
Deformity of the great toe joints is deviated medially (towards the midline) away from the first metatarsals bone.

Hallux Varus
Lateral deviation of the great toe. Displacement of the great toe towards the other toes. (Bunion) big toe towards the other toes
Hallux Valgus
A toe posture characterized by hyper-tension of the metatarsophalangeal & distal interphalangeal (pip) joint & flexion of the pip
Hammer Toes
is deformed position of the fingers or toes in which the joint nearest the knuckle PIP is permanently bent towards the palm while the farthest joint is bent away
Boutonniere Deformity
The joint closest to the fingertip is permanently bent toward the palm
Swan-neck Deformity
Are hard or bony swellings that can develop in the DIP joints.
Heberden Nodes
Is a type of arthritis that is characterized by sudden, severe attacks of joint pain with redness, warmth + swelling in the affected area.
Gout
Syndrome characterized by pain or discomfort seemingly originating from the contact of the posterior surface of the patella (back of the knee) with the femur (thigh bone)
Patello-Femoral Pain Syndrome
Bone spurs. are bony projections that form along joint margins
Osteophyte
Rounding of the back. Exaggerated rounding of the back
Kyphosis
Spine is curved from side to side.
