Bias
prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair
Cancel Culture
a social environment in which publicly boycotting or withdrawing support for people, organizations, etc. regarded as promoting socially unacceptable beliefs is widespread practice
Censorship
the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security
Conservatism
commitment to traditional values and ideas with opposition to change or innovation
the holding of political views that favor free enterprise, private ownership, and socially traditional ideas
Liberalism
willingness to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one’s own; openness to new ideas
a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise
Woke Movement
alert to injustice and discrimination in society, especially racism
Filter Bubble
a situation in which an internet user encounters only information and opinions that conform to and reinforce their own beliefs, caused by algorithms that personalize an individual’s online experience
Ideology
a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy
Socialism
a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole
