Distribute representatives after census/redraw district lines

Count of the population. Held every 10 years

Draw lines in order to ensure the success/failure of political parties

Govt branches looking at one another making sure no one is doing anything illegal
Necessary and Proper Clause
Congress has the power to do whatever is necessary to execute its explicit powers
Standing committees
Specialized committees that only review bills relating to their subject area before it goes to main floor
Select committees
Short term committees for current event research
Joint Committee
Composed of members from both chambers of congress and report to both
Conference Committee
If senate and house pass diff versions of same bill it is settled here. Moderator
Impeach
Charge holder of public office with a crime
Veto
Say no on a bill. Either directly or letting bill die
Bill
Draft of a potential law
Fillibuster
Hold the floor as long as you can in the hopes of stalling a bill so much that it dies/is changed
