Q

Platos dualistic the theory

A

Incredibly wonderful, extremely dark
Suggested that there are two worlds, 2 mothers, 2 Americas
-there is a real version and there is an unreal version, the real world is the idea, the unreal world are the bed things, the stress, the challenges: the way things actually are.
-after we die we can go to the real world
-we are supposed to bring the real world ideas to our unreal world lives
-we will never be able to reach the wreak world, this world will always be an imperfect place

Platos theory of forms

A

There is a world of permanence where things don’t change, we live I’m the world where things do. Things come and go. Up ideas stay because they aren’t really a part of this realm. Forms cannot exist here in a permanent way, here we are trying to keep those ideas alive.

The three cautions of Hinduism

A

1) there is not a founder. You can’t go back and find somebody, it probably originated in an organic way, there are many variations of it
2) it is not one religion. Because there is not one founder. Thousands of religions are under the one umbrella of “Hinduism”. Everyone experiencing god in their own way.
3) it is very tolerant and fluid. You practice what works for you. You don’t set up boundaries or define yourself by closing yourself in.
