A

oral stage. This includes weaning (taking the breast from the mother away.) If a child is neglected from this then they are more likely to have an oral fixation later in life. (chain smoking, drinking to much, overeating)

consists of 20 pictures, all black and white that are shown to a client and the client is asked to discuss each of them. The story told is then interpreted by the psychoanalyst who looks for revealing statements and projection of the clients own problems onto the people in the pictures
