A person who has failed to answer all Security Questions to the satisfaction of the check-in agent.

When is a Limited Release Tag used? (2 reasons)
- When the customer checks in anything that is not packed like a suitcase e.g. golf clubs or a bike
- When the customer presents baggage at check-in which is noticeably damaged prior to being place in the Airline’s custody
When is a Heavy Tag used? (2 reasons)
- When the bag weighs over 20KG
- When small items weigh more than would be anticipated
When is a Standby Tag used? (3 reasons)
- Standby passengers who are not guaranteed a seat
- Nervous flyers
- Standby staff
What is the purpose of a Standby Tag?
This tag enables the bags to be kept separate in case of subsequent change to their status.
What is the purpose of a Last Bag Tag?
To indicate to the Ramp Agent that this is the last bag checked-in.
