a legal document used to request the lower court transcripts of the case
Supreme Court
The Supreme court does not have a jury and acts in appellate jurisdiction and origional jurisdiction. They can only decide issues of law and not the facts of a case

Federal District Courts (what and how many)

Preponderance of Evidence

Procedural Due Process

Substantive Due Process
deals with the question of whether the laws are fair under the Constitution
Hijacking
redraws two districts that was origonally one forcing the two incumbents to oppose each other and only one wins
Kidnapping
moves an incumbents home address into another district
Packing
clumping minority/majority voters and isolating them in districts
Cracking
dividing minority voters across districts
