Stamp act
Law passed by Parliament in 1765 to raise money in America by requiring taxed stamped paper.
Sugar act
Law passed in 1764 to raise money for America which lowered the cost of molasses from six pence to three pence
Proclamation of 1763
Set the boundary of the proclamation line that limited British settlements to the east of the appalachians.
Coercive acts
included the Boston port act, the Massachusetts government act, the administration of justice act, and the quartering act
Quartering acts
Required colonial legislatures to provide supplies and quarters for troops in America
Declaratory act
