skin cancer
is the most common form of cancer, with about a million new cases. occurs most frequently on the sun-exposed areas of the body: face ears, neck, scalp, shoulders and back
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC)
is the second most common form of skin cancer. caused by chronic overexposure to sun. tumors appear most frequently on the sun exposed areas.
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)
is the third type of skin cancer which originates in the melanocytes. not common but it is a more serious form of skin cancer. rarely occurs in dark skinned people
