What is a case
A case is an interaction between a participant and the organisation. Essentially the case becomes a folder for all the information that is needed to manage the participant and the benefits or services they receive
It contains information about the participant that wants to receive a benefit or service, information about other participants that are involved in the case .
What are the key 7 case types?
- Screening -consolidates one or more assessments for one or more members of the same households
- Assessment - performs an initial evaluation to determine whether a person or prospect person is eligible for an individual program
- Application- the initial application for benefits.
- Integrated- used as a master container for the other case types for a specific client or household
- product delivery- determines actual eligibility and entitlement to benefits and delivers those benefits
- Issue- used to capture and manage differences in evidence or information that is received from a claimant and a thirds party
