Auxiliaries:

Auxiliary be is used to indicate the continuous and the passive voice.
I am sitting down for a while.

Auxiliary do is used in interrogative, negative and emphatic structures.
I do know where it is.

Auxiliary have is used to indicate the perfect.
I have seen Jim’s bike.
