Testable question
A question that can be answered through experimental inquiry and observation of the natural world
Non-testable question
Questions that cannot be answered by direct observation or by evidence gathered through experimental inquiries
Quantitative
Relating to different sizes or amounts of things.
Qualitative
Describes qualities or characteristics
Trials
Test something to assess its suitability or performance.
Observation
The action or process of observing something or someone carefully or in order to gain information.
Empirical evidence
The information obtained through observation and documentation of certain behavior and patterns or through an experiment.
Data
Facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.
Model is science
A representation of a phenomenon, object, structure, or system
Analogy
A comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.
Prototype
A first, typical or preliminary model of something, especially a machine, from which other forms are developed or copied.
Hypothesis

Variable

Accuracy

Scientific Method
A method of procedure that has characterized natural science since the 17th century, consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.

The power to influence or direct people’s behavior or the course of events.
