What is a mutual?

2 members, same rate and pay grade, requesting to exchange duty stations. Each assume the others your completion date. Minimum of 1 year, max of 3.5

Member in excess at unit requests to go to a new unit with an empty billet

What is the required criteria?

Pay grade e3 or above. No rated must be the same.
Guarantee 12 months (a school)
Receive favorable endorsement.
Have 1 year left upon reporting.
Received no unsat marks.
Have 6 months at present unit before executing.
Unilateral must exceed allowance in rate and guarantee no critical fill.

Submit a written request via memo to CG-PSC-EPM2 with command endorsement and copy of other command (if mutual). State no cost, no space a , include 2 marking periods EER, reason and CO endorsement. No proceed or travel time.
