Blood def. - for the liver to function it must receive adequate blood to nourish, moisten and harmonize it. Blood def. can result in LIV loss to command over coursing and discharging

Obstruction - if for any reason damp, phlegm, food or blood becomes static and stagnant, this will hinder and obstruct the free flow of Qi. Any of these depressions can result in wiry pulse
