What are the 3 main organs responsible for children

What do children have more of Yin or Yang
They are pure yang
Clinically what are sicknesses seen more typically in children
Heat and wind
When the lungs in children, what are the signs and symptoms
Fever and chills, body aches, coughing, coughing with mucus, allergy, phlegm
When children are effected by illness of the SP - what symptoms
Indigestion, vomiting, Diarrhoea,
In a child, when the SP is not doing well, and food stagnates in the stomach - what is the next progression of disease
Stagnation of food-> XS heat
In children, why does LIV wind get stirred up?
Because children are pure yang, the LIV stores the blood - the yin. Since the yin is relatively deficient, the yin cannot contain the yang
When there is SP dampness, what is the potential impact on LIV
Impaired the free flow of Qi, can cause LIV Qi stagnation
Why are children more prone to sickness
Wei Qi not fully formed and weak
Therefore disease move radically
Fetal toxins
Children can inherit toxins during conception or gestation
Why do children become hot easily
SP not fully formed therefore children are more susceptible to SP stasis
Spiritless child - describe symptoms
Dull eyes, listlessness, filmy, lack of awareness
Face all red
XS heat
Deeper darker red
More serious heat condition
Red afternoon mallor flush
Damp or deficiency heat
