Q

Research for separate episodic and semantic.

A

Herlitz gave male and female tasks that tested either episodic LTM or semantic LTM ability and found that females are better on episodic tasks. Shows difference in performance and suggests they are different processes.

Q

Research on procedural LTM.

Separate to episodic and semantic

A

Finke, case study of brain damage. Found that his episodic and semantic were affected but ability to red and play music were unaffected, including new pieces. Shows procedural is separate to episodic and semantic.
