Psychological development is lifelong emotional, cognitive, and social growth.
It involves changes in how individuals think, feel, and interact with others.
COGNITIVE
DEVELOPMENT
The changes in thought processes that occur as we age.
Improved thinking, comprehension, and organization of internal and external information.
EMOTIONAL
DEVELOPMENT
The continuous, lifelong changes in skills that allow
control, express, and appropriately recognise emotions.
Eg: expressing your emotions appropriately.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
The lifelong changes in skills that allow individuals to
effectively and appropriately interact with others.
Eg: having the skills to communicate
appropriately in a work/ school environment.
