Thoracolumbar facet syndrome
Aka: Maigne syndrome
20-40yo
Causing referred pain from T12- L1
Primary hip and groin pain accompanied with low back pain symptoms may refer to lower abdomen
Costochondritis
Most common in men over the age of 40
Unknown eitiology: although respiratory infections, excessive, coughing, and repetitive microtrauma.
Painful swelling of the customer cartilage, as well as redness .
Painful swelling of costal cartilage diffuse over several levels of the chest with chest wall pain
Tietze syndrome
<40 yo
Painful swelling of the second and third chondrocostal junction tenderness, swelling may persist long after pain
T4 syndrome
Most common in women, 30 to 50
T2 T7 joint dysfunction/posterior facet syndrome.
Upper back stiffness, dullness, achiness, upper extremity, numbness and paresthesia . Associated with headaches.
Scoliosis
Infantile, juvenile, or adolescence
Structural (idiopathic, or congenital)
Neuromuscular (upper motor neuron lesion/MS)
Functional (posture, antalgia, leg length discrepancy, lower motor, neuron lesion)
Postural analysis can be used to identify structural or non-structural
Imaging : cobbs method or risser sign.

Caused by a buildup of calcium salts in the ligaments and tendons, hardening an overgrowth of bone
Significant stiffness, especially in the morning loss of range of motion Hard end-feel
