- Only 35% are surgical (stage 1 or 2) –> only half get surg due to comorbidities

- Usually present in stage 4 disease
- Usually inoperable
- Tx: chemo or chemo+radiation

- 80% of lung cancers Types: - Adenocarcinoma - SCC - Large Cell Undifferentiated - Large Cell Neuroendocrine - Carcinoid All types treated the same: surg for localized (stages 1 and 2), radiation and chemo (stage 3), chemo (stage 4)
