What elements made up the monarch’s court?

A

Privy Chamber - most intimate relation to monarch - important servants, could approach regularly
Royal Household - servants in the castle e.g. kitchen, stablehands incl. Master of the Horse
Privy Council - politicians chosen by monarch for advice. Can’t completely reject their views but can remove those he doesn’t like
Exechequer - collects money
Regional councils - places far from London e.g. Wales
JPs - local law & order
