TE 14 location, insertion and needle depth, use?
Arm abducted, identify the posterior tip of the acromion, slide down into the depression/dimple btw the posterior and middle fibers of the deltoid
Intra articular, toward midpoint of the axilla at a depth of 1-1.5 cun
Pain and inflammation of the shoulder joint, ligaments, tendon and fascia, subdeltoid bursitis, arthritis, capsulitis, tendonitis
TE 23 location, insertion and needle depth, use?
In the depression on the lateral end of the eyebrow at the lateral superior corner of the orbital fossa
Obliquely, superior to inferior or lateral to medial along the eyebrow at a depth of 0.3 to 0.5 cun
Trigeminal V1 and V2 neuralgia, Bell’s Palsy, headache
Trace the Triple Energizer Meridian, count out the number of points and say if it is yin or yang.
