What is an Augmented triad?
Major chord with a raised 5th
What is a Diminished triad?
Minor chords with a lowered 5th
What is a Sus Chord?
Suspended chord where the 3rd is changed
What is a Sus2?
The 3rd of the chord is lowered to the 2nd in the scale
What is a Sus4?
The 3rd of the chord is raised to the 4th in the scale
What is a power chord?
A chord that is only a 1st and a 5th.
What is the effect of a power chord?
It takes away the tonality of the chord, neither major or minor.
What is a Dominant 7th
Major chord with a minor or lowered 7th
What is a Major 7th chord
All part of major chord with an added 7th, defined by the key signature.

All part of the minor with added 7th, defined by the key signature.
