What will your specialist training entail?
An 8-week training package, comprising of:
- Four weeks of workplace training
- Four weeks of residential training at the SoPT at RAF Cosford
What does specialist training aim to do?
Equip me with the context-specific training skills and knowledge required for my first tour.
What would my first tour likely be?
A posting as a station training officer on an RAF station. Developing programs to get the best from individuals, teams, and organisations. I will have training and PEd specialists to help me achieve my objectives and will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and assurance of operational training activities on my unit.
What roles may subsequent specialist training prepare me for?
Training analysis, training design, training assurance, Parachute Jump Instructor, AT Instructor, DSERE Instructor, strategic comms, information activities & outreach.
