What is blood?
Blood is a fluid which helps in transport of all the digested food, oxygen and waste removal.
What does blood compose of?
Red blood cells: Contain hemoglobin
White blood cells: Fights all the viruses and germs which may enter our body.
Platelets: Clotting of wound
Plasma: Light yellow liquid
Tell about all the blood vessels.
Arteries: It carries oxygenated blood and it has thick, elastic walls.
Veins: It carries de-oxygenated blood and it has thin walls. It has valves as in veins the blood does not flow in pressure so to prevent the backflow of blood there are valves present in the veins.
What is pule and pulse rate also tell the average pulse rate of human in rest position.
pulse is the throbbing on your wrist which is due to the blood flow in arteries. Pulse rate is the number of beats per minute.72-80.
What is heart.
The heart is an organ which beats continuously to act as a pump for transport of blood.
