A
A match cut is a transition that uses elements from the previous scene to seamlessly flow into the next.

Name 6 types of match cuts
A
- Graphic: When the placement or shape of the object matches between two shots.
- Action: When the movement from the previous shot continues into the next shot.
- Sound: Using sound from the previous cut to transition.
- Color: Using the same color between two shots.
- Idea: Using the same idea like running for a horse and human.
- Direction: Using direction that matches between two shots.
