Picture what a succesfully completed task looks like. Think about the positive feelings one will have when a task is completed succesfully.
Break large tasks into more manageable, smaller tasks.
Set goals for task completion. Reflect on what worked and what didnt work.
Have consistent routines w dedicated focus and completion times. Develop good habits.
The procrastination cycle is powerful because it protects your ego. Learn the opposite—dive in and figure out what you don’t know to empower yourself to seek what you need, right away.
Use positive self talk to move things along. “I will start on the topic sentence and see how it goes” vs “I’ll never finish this essay”
Collaborate w children about media use and exposure
Create multiple small victories that add up to a succesful day.
