THIS IS A MULTISYSTEM TRAMA CALL FOR ALS AND TRANSPORT TO A TRAMA CENTER
I’ll consider my h’s and T’s for disability
I’ll expose pt. Within reason to start my trauma assessment
Part 3 - TRAMA assessment think DCAP-BTLS deformities, contusions, abrasions, punctures/penetrations, burns, tenderness, lacerations and swelling
I’m going to asses my Pt. For dcap-btls
Check head (frontial, Paritel, occipital and temporal)
Than EENTM… check
Pupils
Check neck for trachial deviation jvo /palpate the back of neck for stepoffs
Size for collar and install it
Shoulder - clavicle
Chest
Abs
Pelvis (pelvic binder if unstalbe)
Lower extremities check pulse both sides
Upper check plus
(According to Ma state protacal I have 1 attempt to aline the injury , ask for vitals after .

Part 4 vital / history SAMPLE
Attempting to obtain info from anyone
Going to package Pt. For trains port
Say FF will help point them out
Log roll PT. Check back side work way work spine down
Ask for vital signs bp. Hr, rr.
Part 5 during transport
Perform secondary assessment
Reasses vital signs every 5 mins
Notify receiving facility
On arrival transfer care
