A
Hazard

Risk
- risk takes into account the probability of human exposure
Something can be hazardous without being risky

A
Dose that will kill 50% of the population
Lower LD50 means more toxic

What does the dose/concentration response curve look like?
A
It’s a sigmoid but always positive correlation
As dose increases so does mortality
