A

better and affordable transport: great improvements in safety, travelling time and lower costs. e.g A commercial flight from Singapore to London took 2-4 days in the 1950s, but that has changed to about 14h present day.

ease of access to information: online booking and research gives tourists more options and control without having to book through travel agents. they now have better access to information regarding the destination, such as feedback, social etiquettes etc.
