Topik 3.4 Flashcards
What’s conduction system
System which required the electricity to work
The heart be able to creat it’s own electrical impulses
What’s 2 features that aid in contraction of cardiac cycle and explain
Automaticity- ability to contact
Autorhythmicity- ability to synch contraction
What elements of cardiac cycle
Sino-atrial (SA)
Atrio-ventricular (AV)
Bundle of His
Left/right bundle branches
Purkinje fibers
Explain about heart contract
Diastole phase- ada blood, relaxation phase
Systole phase- pump blood, contraction phase
Explain about Sino-atrial SA
Located at right atrium
Natural pacemaker
Creating a wave of contraction and spread through both atrium
Explain about atrio-ventricular AV
Located between atrium and ventricle
Once the atria are empty of blood, the valves between atrium/ventricle close
Explain about bundle of His
Signal travels through the AV bundles and splits into the right/left bundles
Explain about purkinje fibers
Located along the sides of ventricle and apex of heart
Connected to contract cells
From apex, contraction travels up
Explain about diastole phase
Atrium/ventricle are relax
Atrio-ventricular valve are open
Semilunar valve are close to prevent blood flow back yo the atrium
Explain about systole phase
The ventricles contract
Av valves close
Semilunar valves are open
Flow to either pulmonary/aortic valves
What the “lubb” sound
Contraction of ventricle/ closing of AV valves
What the “dubb” sound
Closing of semilunar valves
What’s baroreceptors
Sensor located in blood vessels that measure the pressure of blood
What’s the pressure
Force of blood pumped, size of the arteries
Blood pressure is proportional(berkadar)to blood volume.. is it true?
Yes.. its true
