What is C4 photosynthesis?

A

Has mesophyll and bundle sheath cells. CO2 is stored in the mesophyll cells as C4 and when the stomata closes at the hottest part of the day, it converts C4 back into CO2 and releases it to the bundle sheath

A

The stomata opens at night to store CO2 as C4 so that photosynthesis can happen during the day
