During the second week the lining of the uterus builds up
Ovulation is the release of the egg
Days 14 to 16 is when fertilisation is likely to take place
If fertilisation happens then the lining will stay the same

What is pancreatic control?

A

Pancreas detects rise in blood glucose
Increases the amount of insulin and decreases the amount of glucagon
Insulin means cells remove glucose and stores it as glycogen
Pancreas detects fall in blood glucose
Increases the amount of glucagon and decreases the amount of insulin
Glucagon causes cells to convert glucagon into glucose to release into the blood
