Mix DNA with restirciton enzyme and loading dye
Prepare agar and pour into electrophoresis mould, once set fill tank with buffer solution
Load restriction ladder into first well and then samples into other wells
Connect to electrical supply and leave until dye has moved to opposite and view under UV

Pour agar into a petri dish and lawn bacteria on the agar without breaking the agar
Sterilise the forceps using Bunsen burner and add antibiotic disk
Incubate
measure the zone of inhbition
