Q

Aftermath of putsch

A

Hitler was found guilty of treason, but the judges were sympathetic and gave him the minimum sentence of 5 years in the comfortable Landsburg prison. He used his trial for national publicity, and spread his ideas. In prison he wrote his autobiography Mien Kampf which shared his political ideas. He rearranged his party to be ready for a democratic election instead of taking power by force.
