Air Commerce
service or carriage of persons, property or mail, in whole or in part, by aircraft
Air Transportation
any individual who engages, as the person in command or as pilot, mechanic, flight radio operator or member of the crew, in the navigation of aircraft while under way, and any individual who is directly in charge of inspection, maintenance, overhauling or repair of aircraft engine, propellers, or appliances

any individual who serves in the capacity of aircraft dispatcher or air-traffic control operator

a path thru the navigable air space identified by an area of specified width on the surface of the earth designated or approved by the Administrator as suitable for air commerce or air transportation

an aircraft, its engines, propellers, and other components and accessories, are of proper design and construction being consistent with accepted engineering practice and in accordance with aerodynamic laws and aircraft science
