  1. Data assimilation: profiler reviews all EVIDENCE.
  2. Crime scene classification: ORGANISED/DISORGANISED.
  3. Crime reconstruction: HYPOTHESES developed i.e sequence of events.
  4. Profile generation: Hypotheses developed in RELATION to the LIKELY offender.
